Please a short biography of yourself including any previous achievements you have gained. (minimum of 150 words): I believe that I’ll be a strong candidate for this role because of my ability to learn fast and adapt in the environment around me. I had to take care of myself at a pretty young age because my parents had to move to Jamaica and they didn’t want to take me with them as they thought life would be alot better in the UK. I had to learn how the world operates at a young age as well as become mature and educate myself to survive without having both my parents around. As I was growing up I was working multiple jobs as well as studying and university to make sure that I could have the best life possible.I always made sure that i stayed out of trouble whilst growing up in a poor neighbourhood. I stayed away from the violence and the crime that was surrounding me. I always kept my head down and always made sure that I would want a honest living for myself.
Answer
Why should the San Andreas Department of Corrections hire you over other applicants? (minimum of 100 words): I moved to Los santos from the UK to get away from the environment I grew up in. This job opportunity could turn things around. Instead of me having a hard time feeding myself , I could make an honest living and get away from my previous struggles. In my previous jobs in Los Santos I was considered very hard working by my colleagues. I’d wake up early in the mornings, do extra shifts and would often cover the shifts on my fellow colleagues. I’d also say that one of my biggest pros is my composure. In difficult situations I try to stay as calm as possible to make sure I get to the best possible outcome. I would also consider myself an admirer of justice, doing everything in my own power to make sure everybody is treated equally, and civilians and innocent people don’t suffer for no reason. I also think my psychological skills could come in handy. I could maybe try and help criminals turn their life around instead of judging them for their past actions or making criminals on an active scene realize that their actions aren’t justified and wrong, thus trying to give them a perspective of the people they hurt while committing their crimes.
Answer
How do you handle pressure or stressful situations?:
I handle them with sheer confidence and composure. I try to not get distracted by the pressure nor the stress and look for the best possible outcome of the situation. I always make sure to stay professional at all times.
What traits do you have that you feel may be of use to us?:
I think one of my biggest traits is my composure. I don’t like to try and finish everything as fast as possible, and I don’t like to scream around like a maniac to get my point across. My dedication would also be on the list of my best traits, as I’d do everything to make sure the law is enforced, and justice is preserved. Again, like I said before I would also consider myself hard working. I’m also a person that loves teamwork so working with fellow colleagues is something I look forward to and I’d try and do my best to make sure their safety is guaranteed in every situation. Also, I believe that I have amazing communication skills and communication is key when working in a team, especially when it's a dangerous job.
