Steven Ruby comes from a poor family and ever since a young age, he had very little in life.
As his family was not able to support him in any way, Steven knew that the only way he could make a better life for himself was if he put in a grind.
He started to spend his time in the library and learning as much as he could. Eventually, he fell in love with the world of business and how his life could change forever. He decided to attend night classes to learn how to negotiate, work with loans, and eventually how to run a business.
He was meeting other business people, your average joes, and started to understand how different people can be. He was easily able to adjust and become friendly with everyone. As time went on, he expanded into multiple stores but he decided that wasn't enough.
In order to gain exposure, he ventured into picking up new vehicles from the docking station and dropping them off at dealerships. From time to time, I was also taking used vehicles to the mechanics for repairs and bringing them back to their owners safely.
Steven Ruby's ambition is to eventually own his own dealership. He has the grind and is willing to put in the time and effort because of how he was brought up in his home.
What skills do you have that you believe DCC would benefit from? (Minimum of 75 words)
I have years of driving experience. Previously, I was responsible for picking up new vehicles and dropping them off at various dealerships. As I got comfortable with bulk delivery, I started to do side jobs for mechanics and smaller shops which allowed me to focus the individual customers. I would take their vehicles and bring them to their locations for repairs and bring them back. Lastly, I started to gain experience in customer shuttle service. I would take multiple customers at a time, drop them off at their work locations and bring them back while their cars were being serviced. This allowed me to gain experience which I feel is very relevant for this position.
Why would you like to join the DCC team? (Minimum of 75 words)
After taking a few CAB rides around the city, I felt the people that have driven me around so far are very kind and polite people. I would like to become friends with such colleagues and work with them. By giving me an opportunity, I would like to continue with such attitude through out the city and make DCC a company that everyone knows about and wants to enjoy. I have a very fun and outgoing personality and love to talk with people which I think would be a great asset when picking up and dropping people off at their location.
Have you applied previously and been rejected? If so what have you done differently this time?
No
Do you consent to a background check? (if no, your application will be denied)

Define Powergaming and give an example:
Powergaming is when you force roleplay without giving them an options to decide what they want to do. Example of this is having a fist fight in game and randomly saying broke their arm so they can no longer fight
What is the difference between /me and /do? and give an example:
/me = an example of this is when I would maybe scratch me head. An action someone can't see due to in-game restrictions
/do = when you are doing an action with the expectation of a confirmation or response from someone. An example of this is someone giving me a pen and paper and asking me to sign it, I could respond with /do grab pen and sign paper
Define Metagaming and give an example:
Metagaming is when someone gains information OOC'ly and their character has no information about it and uses it. Example of this would be someone on discord telling you what is happening somewhere and you get in a car and go there asap.
Which rule does the following describe: the act of emphasising roleplay over acquiring a level of skill that is unrealistic.
[X] Non-Roleplay
[ ] Powergaming
[ ] Alternative Roleplay
Define Non-Roleplay and give an example:
Non-Roleplay is when a situation just doesn't feel like it would happen at all in a realistic situation.
Example: Lets say that I break my foot and I call the ambulance to come help me. When they arrive, I tell them I broke by foot and to hurry up and fix it. Then after a few RP commands I magically get up and I am able to walk again as if nothing happened because I want to rush to my previous situation.
You are in a taxi by yourself and it stalls. A man runs up to the taxi and points a gun at you close range. He begins shouting demands for you to exit the vehicle and to put your hands in the air. You have a pistol on your person. What should you do?
Because he came up to me with a gun out, I would have to comply with the demands
