Have you been convicted of a crime? If so, what for?
I have never been convicted of a crime.
Do you have any prior employment? If so, please state them here with the reason(s) as to why you left them:
I do not have any prior employement.
Please write a personal biography: (Minimum of 200 words)
My name is Cody Johson and I am quite a new face around this city and I am actively looking for employement and I heard DCC is the place to go. I have recently just flown in from the UK and I got a cab and the driver recommended I go to DCC if I want to earn a nice bit of cash so here I am signing up. I came from a harsh backstory, I grew up with 2 brothers, a mother and a father but my father was always very abusive and neglectant towards me. For most people this would be a reason to go down the life of crime but for me this drives me to do more positive things with my life and just be generally more positive. I like to think of myself as very bright always having a smile on my face and I feel I always have the ambition to work because nothing good comes without a bit of hard work. Along with this I like to think that I am a very hard working citizen and always have the motivation to throw in some 8 hour shifts. Finally I like to think of myself as very sociable and I always love meeting new people wether thats employeees, customers or even just people from the street im always happy to see a new face.
What skills do you have that you believe DCC would benefit from? (Minimum of 75 words)
I believe that I could learn many skills from DCC and I will explain a few of them. The first one that I think I would benefit from is that I will always be meeting new people therefore strengthening my social skills even more which is just great and through this I will also become far more known in the city and not just a 'new face'. The second skill which I think I will benefit from through DCC is that I will strengthen my driving skills and overall ability and confidence inside of a car which could greatly benefit me.
Why would you like to join the DCC team? (Minimum of 75 words)
I would like to join the DCC team as I have been told by current drivers that DCC is the place to go for employement and right now I need anything I can get my hands on due to me being new to the city without any real connections or employement methods. I am also in dire need of some money right now so anything to get my money up is awesome. Along with these two factors I would like to just be part of something in the city and I would like to feel like part of a team building connections as I go.

Define Powergaming and give an example:
Powergaming is the act of not giving another player a roleplay chance or a chance to fight back during roleplay. Such as doing something like /me attempts to remove the man's belt. Putting /do successful after it instead of putting /do able? by doing this second part you are enabling the other player to have a say in the RP whereas if you dont put /do able? you arent giving the other player a chance in the RP and therefore the roleplay is unfair.
What is the difference between /me and /do? and give an example:
/me is used to describe an action your character is performing such as /me pulls out phone and searches up Google on his phone. /do is used to describe an active roleplay scenario and it is often used after a /me such as /me attempts to remove the gun from the man's holster. Here you would put /do successful? It can also be used to describe an RP scenario by putting /do the oil is drained.
Define Metagaming and give an example:
Metagaming is where you use OOC info and you mix it with IC info through such methods as discord. An example of Metagaming would be: So you have just recently been killed in a shootout and you are annoying that you lost your gun so you message your friend on discord telling them where you died so they can go and get your stuff. That would be an example of metagaming.
Which rule does the following describe: the act of emphasising roleplay over acquiring a level of skill that is unrealistic.
[X] Non-Roleplay
[ ] Powergaming
[ ] Alternative Roleplay
Define Non-Roleplay and give an example:
Non-Roleplay (NRP) is the act of breaking immersion or performing actions that you wouldnt do IRL. An example of this is stunt jumping such as throwing your car up a ramp and landing it. Even if you land it its still NRP as you would never dare perform something like this IRL as it would be too dangerous. Another example would be not Roleplaying your injuries, say if you were to hit a wall at high speed or crash into another car at high speed you would have to roleplay your injuries just as you would do IRL.
You are in a taxi by yourself and it stalls. A man runs up to the taxi and points a gun at you close range. He begins shouting demands for you to exit the vehicle and to put your hands in the air. You have a pistol on your person. What should you do?
I would step out of the car with my hands up and follow the demands he tells me because even though I have a pistol on me if I tried to reach for it he would just shoot me as soon as he sees me reach for it and my taxi is stalled so I wont be able to start it and drive away, so I would FearRP my actions out and follow the demands he calls to me and just hope he leaves me alive.
