I have been previously employed with Uber in California, I was driving my personal vehicle to pick up and drop off clients and my reason for leaving is I moved to Los Santos. I also have been employed with Uber Eats in Los Santos and my reason for leaving is that the pay wasn’t enough for me to survive. I have been employed with the Los Santos Garbage Collection Services and the reason for leaving is to pursue a career at the Downtown Cab Company.

My name is Ricky Barker and I grew up in Los Angeles, California. Growing up as an immigrant, my father drove a taxi to support our family. My father wasn’t around much because of how much he had to work and I always admired his dedication to his company and his family. One November 3rd 2019, My father picked up a customer who had caught his attention on the side of the road outside of a local pub. As my father drove to the destination, the customer took out a pistol and attempted to rob my father. My father complied but before leaving, the customer shot my father in the back of the head, killing him instantly. This senseless random act put me in a dark place for quite sometime. After many months of therapy, I was able to realize that the only way to accept this senseless killing was to honor my father’s legacy and follow in his footsteps. I started off using my own vehicle as times have changed in LA and Uber is extremely popular. I enjoyed my time doing that but it was time for a change. A few friends of mine had been telling my how they had move to Los Santos and how amazing it was. A huge difference from LA and suggested that I should visit. I took a visit to Los Santos for a week and I loved it. Once I returned to LA, I sold my house, my car and all of my belongings and caught a flight back to Los Santos.
What skills do you have that you believe DCC would benefit from? (Minimum of 75 words)
Skills that I have that I believe DCC would benefit from are: Integrity and Trustworthy. I believe these 2 traits are extremely important and you don’t have one without the other. I do the right thing even when no one is around to see. I stay true to myself and hold myself to a high standard. I am a person who can easily be trusted and you can be assured that I will get tasks completed as expected.
Why would you like to join the DCC team? (Minimum of 75 words)
I would like to join the DCC team because as a taxi driver it would help me meet new people in Los Santos and it would also help out my fellow citizens when they are in need of a ride. I have been in the same situation many times when I needed a ride somewhere and was very thankful that a taxi driver was available to help me out. I also want to join the DCC to honor my late father as he was a taxi driver for 30 years.

Define Powergaming and give an example:
Powergaming is when you do not give another player the proper opportunity to RP a response or force RP upon another player. An example would be /me cuffs the man and then do /cuff ID. That would be unfair because the player didn't have a chance to resist the RP.
What is the difference between /me and /do? and give an example:
/me is describing an action that you would be able to do in real life but isn’t capable to be seen in game. For example: /me press the power button on the taxi meter and enters the rate of the fare into the meter and starts the meter. A /do is used to make the RP complete and factual. /do the meter would be powered on and started. /do’s also are used to allow other players an opportunity to RP the outcome of a /me. For example /me takes a pair of cuffs from his duty belt and attempts to uncuff the man. /do would the man resist the cuffing? Then the other play could do /do the man would resist the cuffs, yanking his hands away from the officer.
Define Metagaming and give an example:
Metagaming is using information gained from OOC means and using it IC. For example: your friend messages you on discord and says that he is injured in stab city and needs you to come pick him up and take him to the hospital. Another example is using a player’s ID above their head to identify them.

I would listen to his demands, exit the vehicle and put my hands in the arm and do exactly what he says, fearing for my life.
