- Office of the Sergeant at Arms The OSA is tasked with the assistance of the Office of the Governor and the San Andreas State Senate in their legislative and executive duties. This includes researching, writing, and polling legislative ideas. The OSA has a huge influence on what becomes law and the changes to laws. When the OSA has excellent staff it can in turn result in excellent laws for the benefit of the entire state. Those that can argue interpretations of laws and their merits will find a home within the OSA.
Job Description: Legislative Aide is the entry level position for the OSA wherein you will gain on the job experience on how researching, writing, and polling legislative ideas work. You will also learn the roles of the Executive and Legislative branch and how the OSA interacts with officials of those branches.
Vacancies: 5
Pay Grade: GS01-2
Duties:(Specified Duties)- Get on the job training through assistance with OSA Associates and Senior Analysts.
- After completion of your training, be promoted to Associate.
Expiration Term: When OSA has 5 or more Legislative Aides.
